Why I strongly recommand this SPD course

I now feel entitled to draw from the Repertoire of Motifs while adding my own personal touch.

Before taking Repertoire course, hand drawing was a real challenge. Having worked digitally for so long, I had almost forgotten what it felt like to draw on paper. However, Bärbel's drawing classes changed that. She helped me to slow down, observe and reconnect with the basics. It wasn’t just about technique; it was about finding joy in the process again. I didn’t expect it, but picking up a pencil brought back a spark I didn’t know I had lost.

My journey has involved plenty of trial and error, but Repertoire helped me to bring structure and clarity to my workflow. I now use my sketchbook more often, and sometimes my evening doodles evolve into full designs. I complete my patterns in Procreate and Illustrator, and I’m learning to trust the creative process, despite some lingering doubt. Bärbel’s “principle of five” was a game changer — it taught me to embrace reworking, significantly improving my self-confidence.

If you're into art and history, you're going to love this amazing course! It's definitely worth investing your time and money in. Bärbel is such a great teacher – she's so fun and inspiring! And the community is so supportive…

I’m an affiliate for Bärbel’s Repertoire course, which means I may earn a small reward if you sign up Repertoire through my link — but I only recommend this course because I truly love it and that have been genuinely helpful for me.
