FAQs

I work either traditionally in a sketchbook or directly on my tablet using the Procreate app. I love taking part in creative challenges—they often spark the initial ideas for my collections. Then, using the skills I gained from the Repertoire course on different pattern styles, I develop and complete each collection at my own pace, depending on my inspiration and availability. I finalize my patterns in Adobe Illustrator, which gives me great flexibility when it comes to color variations and formatting.

No, I don’t use AI to create my patterns. Like many designers, I have access to the tools available through Adobe Creative Cloud and the image libraries I subscribe to—but I truly enjoy the hands-on creative process. Even if the path to the final result can be challenging at times, it brings me much more satisfaction. I believe this manual approach adds a sense of authenticity and a touch of imperfection to the patterns I create.

You can expect a professional and flexible service tailored to your project needs. I’m happy to provide Pantone color references for accurate color matching, including suggestions for watercolor-based designs when exact codes aren’t available. Most of my designs are vector-based, which makes color customization easy if you’re looking to match your brand or vision.
All of my surface pattern designs are created as seamless repeats, making them ideal for fabric, wallpaper, or any product that requires continuous printing. If your printer or manufacturer needs layered artwork or specific file formats, I’ll gladly accommodate that too.
Feel free to reach out through my licensing inquiry form to discuss your project—I’m always happy to help bring your ideas to life.

Artwork licensing allows you to use my designs on your products for a fee, either non-exclusively or exclusively. Non-exclusive licenses let multiple brands use the same design, while exclusive licenses give you more control within agreed terms. I always retain copyright. Pricing varies based on the project—just fill out my licensing inquiry form for a custom quote.
